Moi c’est Laetitia et je viens d’avoir 51 ans.
Mon histoire commence le 01/10/2019 jour de mes 46 ans.
Ce jour-là, j’avais rdv pour mon bilan senologique annuel.
La veille, j’ai eu un mauvais pressentiment qui est arrivé sans crier gare, très étrange,
Je n’avais aucune douleur, je ne sentais pas de masse et je revenais d’un magnifique voyage pour nos noces d’argent.
Donc, je fais mon bilan, et au moment de l’échographie, la sénologue me pose beaucoup de questions, insiste avec la sonde sur une zone en particulier et fini par me dire que quelque chose la chipote.
Et elle m’annonce qu’elle me fait une biopsie immédiatement.
Je la regarde et lui dit que j’ai compris, j’ai un cancer et que je m’y attendais, ma maman est décédée d’un cancer du sein.
Commence l’attente des résultats, 15 jours après, c’est mon médecin généraliste qui m’annoncera la mauvaise nouvelle.
Même si j’en étais certaine, je suis sous le choc et je vais pleurer jusqu’au lendemain matin.
Après une nuit blanche, tout se met en route et moi je me mets en mode combattante.
Le jour même, rendez-vous chez l oncologue, le soir 1er contact avec le gynécologue qui va s’occuper de moi et un tas de prescription pour des examens.
Tout va très vite car j’ai un cancer agressif.
Une date est fixée et j’ai la chance de pouvoir garder mon sein.
Mon intervention sera reportée 2x suite à une rupture de stock européenne d’un produit essentiel pour l’opération.
Finalement, c est fixé au 04/11/2019.
La veille, nous allons au restaurant pour me changer et au retour, nous sommes victimes d’un terrible accident frontal. Il est 16h.
Nous serons désincarcérés tout les 2 et avons des graves blessures.
Pour moi, crâne ouvert, fracture du radius, fractures lombaires, brûlures légères, hématome partout et plusieurs entorses.
La seule chose à laquelle je pense c’est que je dois être opérée absolument, je suis en boucle et je pleure, je suis vraiment en état de choc.
Finalement, après coup de fil au gynécologue, il accepte qu’on me transfère et il m’opérera comme prévu.
Je n’aurais aucune douleur de mon opération, ouf.
Suite aux résultats du laboratoire, il s’avèrera que j’ai des métastases dans deux ganglions enlevés.
Me voilà prise en charge pour une étude des métastases par Mamaprint, les résultats arrivent après plus de 7 semaines d’attente et ils sont bons.
Me voilà partie pour 25 séances de radiothérapie, ça m’épuise, les trajets sont pénibles et j’ai la nausée tout le temps.
Je revois l’oncologue et il sera décidé que j’aurai 2ans d’implants mensuel pour être en ménopause artificielle et je commence en même temps l’hormonothérapie prévue pour 5 ans.
Le traitement et ses effets secondaires ne sont pas toujours simples à gérer.
Quelques mois plus tard, je serais hospitalisée pour une pneumonie radique suite à la radiothérapie.
Je serai k.o durant de longues semaines et bien sûr des séquelles à vie.
Je fais mes bilans tous les 3 mois, et le temps passe, je suis maintenant à devoir faire 10 ans d’hormonothérapie.
En mai dernier, suite à deux visites chez le gynécologue pour des maux de ventre, je serai opérée en urgence pour de multiples tumeurs cancéreuses aux ovaires.
Je suis en rémission totale et je gère mon quotidien selon mes douleurs et surtout ma fatigue.
Par rapport à tout ce parcours, j’ai décidé de me faire tatouer pour mes 50 ans.
Il représente mes parents, mon mari, mon combat et l’espoir via ma coccinelle.
Alors mesdames et messieurs, ça n’arrive pas qu’aux autres.
Quel que soit votre âge, votre ethnie, vos antécédents etc… Le crabe choisit de vous croquer.
Un mot, faites-vous svp dépister, c’est très très important.
Et si par malchance le crabe vous attrape, mettez-vous directement en mode warrior même si le combat est compliqué.
Ne lâchez jamais rien.
